As
with all my work with "live electronics," there are no sequences or
pre-recorded materials. All sounds are made or initiated by the bass
clarinet. A Fairlight Voice Tracker with proprietary firmware, a MAX
program and a Kurzweil 2500 are the hardware and software used. The
music is improvised from a score that only indicates the structural
outlines and motifs. The resultant composition is literally "baked in
front of your ears."
